The Bikini Cocktail
Makes enough for 10 people
To make the Clementine Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
For the Cocktail (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
Making the Cordial: Put every components inside a pot, bring to a gentle boil, agitating to dissolve. After that, turn off the stove and leave to reach room temperature entirely. Transfer into an sealable bottle, cap it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it will last for up to a month.
To make Premix: Pour every liquids into one large bottle, allow it to infuse for one hour, then pass it through best through cheesecloth, so it's perfectly clear.
To serve: Pour 85ml of the premix into a mixing glass filled with ice, and stir gently for a minute until cold. Strain into an cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, decorate with some cranberries and finish using a brief mist of mandarin oil over the drink.
